The FNB share builder platform
Buying Sasol Limited shares is easy with FNB’s Share Builder account.

The documents you need to open such an account include the following:
- South African ID book/ID card
- Three months bank statements
- Proof of residence
Once you have opened your Share Builder account, you can invest within a pre-selected basket of companies such as Sasol Limited, as well as Krugerrands.
Steps to open your Share Builder Account:
- Start by logging in to FNB Online Banking or the FNB App.
- On both platforms, navigate to ‘My Investments’ and select ‘Share Portfolio’.
- Select ‘Add’/’Open a Share Portfolio account and then select ‘Share Builder’.
Your Shares builder Investment allows you to invest in a basket of shares that are pre-selected by FNB. If you have any of the securities in the Share Builder basket constituents with another provider, you can transfer these securities to FNB.
This can be done by emailing your written request to transfer these ETFs to shareinvesting@fnb.co.za stating that you request a CSDP transfer. The transfer support team will contact you within 24 hrs and provide you with all further assistance to get this done.
