How to buy Sasol shares on an Easy Equities platform

Introduction

The Easy Equities online investment platform allows you to buy shares in your favorite firms, such as Sasol Limited, with any amount of money you have. This is due to the fact that Easy Equities now offers fractional share rights, which means you can buy a portion of a share rather than the entire thing.

You can invest with whatever amount you have, whether it is as little as R10 or R1000. This is because Easy Equities gives you the benefits of being a shareholder although you invest in just a portion of a share. This is called Fractional Share Investing and Easy Equities is the only company that offers it in South Africa.

You can first get R100,000 in a ZAR demo account and $10,000 in a USD account to practice your trading skills before risking your own money.

Types of live accounts

Easy Equities offers all the brands and company shares on the Invest Now page. They also offer baskets, bundles, and ETFs which give you a whole bunch of pre-selected shares in one shot.

You’ll need to create a profile in order to activate your live account. You can choose which of the following accounts you’d like to activate:

ZAR Equity Account

USD Equity Account

AUD Equity Account

ZAR Tax-Free Savings Account

RA Account
