Since STP Account traders only pay the spread, they are not subject to commission fees. As a result of the ECN account’s tighter spreads, the following commissions may apply, depending on the account currency and trading volume:

Overnight Fees, Rollovers, or Swaps

The Forex Swap rates are influenced by the market conditions and the countries’ interest rates associated with the selected currency pair in the Forex market. VT Markets’ financial institution partners calculate the daily rates through risk management analysis.

Every currency pair in the Forex market comes with a swap fee. Traders receive interest on the bought currency and pay interest on the sold currency. However, VT Markets does not publicly announce the standard overnight fees that traders in South Africa may encounter.

Furthermore, Muslim traders can convert an STP or ECN live trading account into a Swap-Free Islamic option using the VT Markets platform. This frees them from paying overnight costs and provides halal trading circumstances for those who adhere to sharia law.

VT Markets does not provide spread betting services to South African traders. Therefore, South Africans need not worry about spread betting fees.
