LYNX Fees and Spreads
Traders with Lynx can expect the following spread list:
The spread offering from Lynx is relatively competitive, starting at 0.1 pip for major currency pairs. This is in line with most leading Forex brokers and should allow for affordable trading for most retail and professional traders.
Lynx also charges commissions on non-Forex instruments, such as bonds and ETFs. These commissions will vary depending on the instrument and volume traded and can be viewed directly on the broker’s website.
LYNX Additional Trading Fees
Lynx does not charge deposit fees or withdrawal fees, although your payment processor may charge a fee that is beyond the broker’s control. There are also no additional charges such as inactivity fees on dormant accounts.
Lynx does charge several other non-trading fees, which include an inactivity fee on dormant accounts, as well as swap fees, which are also referred to as overnight fees.
A swap or rollover fee is the net interest return on a currency position held overnight by a trader. That is, when trading currencies, an investor borrows one currency to buy another. The interest paid, or earned, for holding the position overnight is called the rollover rate.
Unfortunately, Lynx does not offer a swap-free account for Islamic traders, for whom the such interest is strictly prohibited by Sharia law.
LYNX Broker Fees
Traders should also be sure to check with the client support or account manager on any additional broker fees which may be waived by their financial institution.
As already noted, traders may be subjected to currency conversion fees should they transfer fees in a currency that is different from their account base currency.
As Lynx is not a spread betting broker, and so spread betting fees will not apply.
