Key to Markets Overview
Key to Markets offer spreads that start from 0.0 pips on EUR/USD.
Account-holders are offered the use of the MetaTrader 4 platform which offers traders variable spreads. The MT 4 Pro account holders can trade within raw spreads that start from as little as 0.0 on EUR/USD.
Commission fees charged on the MT 4 Pro account are $6 per lot per side, whereas the MT 4 Standard account does not have a commission charged on trading.
Both the MT 4 Pro and Standard accounts have a minimum deposit of $ 100. Traders also need to take note of rollover of swap fees which are charged on positions that are held longer than a day. These fees are determined according to each financial instrument.
Key to Markets Additional Trading Fees
When trading financial instruments such as forex, traders can expect that overnight, or swap fees will be charged when positions are held for longer than a trading day. The overnight swap or financing rate is an interest rate credited or debited to the trading account to hold a trading position overnight. With Key to Markets, the swap overnight is applied once per day during rollover time.
Key to Markets update the swap values daily and the best way to check them is to look at the symbol specification within the MT4 platform. Traders should right-click on each instrument and select “specifications” on the drop-down menu. For more information on the swaps that traders can expect, traders can contact customer services.
Key to Markets does not make provision for an Islamic Account for Muslim traders who follow the Sharia Law and are thus prohibited from earning or paying interest where the holding of open positions is concerned. The broker does not offer spread betting and thus spread betting fees do not apply.
Key to Markets Broker Fees
Traders should take note that Key to Markets does charge deposit fees. For all transaction costs, traders should apply a 2.5% fee with the exception of Bank Wire Transfer which has no fee. A 1% should be added for withdrawal fees.
Traders also need to ensure that they verify additional charges which may be waived by their financial institution. In addition, traders may be subjected to currency conversion fees should they transfer fees in a currency that is different from their account base currency.
