HYCM Additional Trading Fees

HYCM charges a $10 monthly inactivity fee on accounts that have been dormant for a minimum of 90 days, and the broker does charge swap fees, also referred to as overnight fees.

A swap or rollover fee is the net interest return on a currency position held overnight by a trader. That is, when trading currencies, an investor borrows one currency to buy another. The interest paid, or earned, for holding the position overnight is called the rollover rate.

The broker does offer an Islamic, or swap-free account, which will allow traders of the Muslim faith to avoid paying swap fees as they fall under the type of interest that is prohibited by Sharia law. However, Islamic accounts are not charged interest overnight only for the first 14 days a position is open. After this period, each contract is charged at $5 per night.

For withdrawals via wire transfer of less than US$300, a handling fee of US$30 will be charged. Deposits and all other withdrawal types are processed free of charge, although your payment processor may charge a handling fee which is beyond the broker’s control.

Traders should also be sure to check with the client support or account manager on any additional broker fees which may be waived by their financial institution. As already noted, traders may be subjected to currency conversion fees should they transfer fees in a currency which is different from their account base currency.

As HYCM is not a spread betting broker, spread betting fees will not apply.

Nice broker, no complaints

Well,in my opinion, all the brokers have to comply simple rules: be responsive and responsible, be reliable and always develop the service in a better way. However, not all the brokers comply with these rules.
I have plenty of experience in trading and faced such brokers who aren’t reliable at all. Nevertheless, HYCM is different. Fortunately, everything was as I expected. Can be recommended!
