This policy is motivated by the view that bonuses do not serve to benefit broker clients in the long run, and so the bonus ban was instilled as a client protection measure by regulatory organizations.
To this end, organizations such as FCA and the CySEC in the EU, encourage brokers to provide competitive trading conditions as a means of incentivizing new clients to register for an account with them.
By offering such offers as tighter spreads, lower commissions, and enhanced trading features, brokers will be better able to serve their clients’ interests while also remaining competitive in the industry.
