AGEA is a Forex broker in Montenegro. Although AGEA International AD was established in 2005, it only ventured into the brokerage industry in April 2012, with little activity until March 2019. AGEA is a multi-asset broker offering the Streamster, AGEA. Trade and MetaTrader 4 online trading platforms. When trading financial instruments such as forex, traders can expect that overnight fees or swap fees will be applicable when positions are held for longer than one trading day. AGEA does provide for an Islamic Account for Muslim traders who follow the Sharia Law and are prohibited from earning or paying interest where the holding of open positions is concerned. AGEA overnight swap rates only apply to the MT4 trading platform. The other two platforms are marketed as free of interest charges.

AGEA does not charge deposit fees but does charge inactivity fees of $20/ZAR320 per month if an account was dormant for longer than a year. AGEA charges $7, which is equivalent to the ZAR 112 withdrawal fee on the first withdrawal made through non-wire options, and a $10/R160 ZAR (at the time of writing) fee on withdrawals via bank wire transfer.
